A new law firm specialising in shipping, commodities, admiralty and insurance has been launched in London. E G Arghyrakis & Co has been formed by former Richards Butler partner George Arghyrakis, who has been joined by Michael Harakis, his former assistant at Richards Butler.

The new firm's client list already includes well-known names in Greece, Turkey, the US, Canada and the Netherlands. George Arghyrakis says, "One hundred per cent of our old clients, and 95 per cent of their cases, are following us to the new firm."
